| Job Description: |
A leading environmental consultancy is seeking for an Ornithologist at Senior or Principal level for their office in Glasgow.
You will provide well-informed technical advice to clients on identifying and resolving bird-related sensitivities for developments (particularly renewables developments on and offshore).
You will act as a line manager for a team of 2 to 6 members, mentor, review and support junior staff, to ensure their output meets required standards.
You will also have the responsibility of undertaking business development, tender production and client care on existing projects.
You should have experience dealing with development-related ornithology issues, either in regulatory, developer or consultancy environment.
Expertise in on and offshore windfarm development would be required.
