The Client is a global leader in the Telecom Sector who are in profit and hitting their numbers... This is a true Business Development Manager position requiring the ability and proven track record of developing complex sales plans and sales strategies. Assisting other S&M representatives in sales efforts, generating sales quotas and evaluate Direct & Channel Partners performances. In addition managing complex sales activities including webex demonstrations, proof of concept (POC) demonstrations at customer sites, developing and presenting quotes/RTT's etc. There will also be the need to interact closely with other divisions including Marketing, Product Management and Sales functions. Making recommendations on pricing and marketing activities such as advertising promotions and trade show attendance. You will also provide information on competitors, market opportunities and customer needs to marketing. As with any role of this nature we will be looking for the following skill's, experience and attributes: Degree level education or equivalent. International sales and management experience within the Telco T&M Sector In-depth knowledge of international marketing, budget management, technical ability/knowledge, backed up by a highly-developed analytical capability. The ability to anticipate potential problems of a highly complex nature; recommend and take corrective action. We are also looking for excellent English ideally backed up with other relevant European languages. The role is a true EMEA position so frequent national and international travel for customer contact with occasional extended work hours may be required.
